تقابل مردم مشهد و سازمان مجاهدین خلق (1357-1361ش)

سال‌های ابتدایی پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی به لحاظ فشردگی و تنوع حوادث، یکی از ادوار مهم تاریخ ایران محسوب می‌شود. مشارکت حداکثری مردم نیز از پدیده‌های وابسته به انقلاب اسلامی است. یکی از این حوزه‌های مشارکت، نقش‌آفرینی مردم در ساحت دفاع از انقلاب و جمهوری‌اسلامی و ایجاد امنیت بود. مجاهدین‌خلق یکی از گروه‌هایی بود که با شیب تند به یک محارب تبدیل شد و از مهم‌ترین چالشگران جامعه ایران در سال‌های ابتدایی پس از انقلاب محسوب می‌شد. گروه‌های مردمی و مردم مشهد، هم در فاز سیاسی و هم در فاز نظامی، در نقش مخالفان آن ظاهر شده و در اشکال مختلف از جمله مبارزات قلمی و تبلیغی، برخورد با برنامه‌ها، تجمعات و مراکز آنها و به‌ویژه همراهی با حکومت و نیروهای نظامی در برچیدن شبکه آنها در فاز نظامی، به ابراز مخالفت خود پرداختند. این مقاله می‌کوشد بر اساس اسناد و مطبوعات و با روش توصیفی تحلیلی به بررسی واکنش‌های مردمی مشهد در مواجهه با سازمان مجاهدین‌خلق طی سال‌های 1357تا1361بپردازد.
