   Characterization of liquid waste of packaging industry [Caractérisation des Rejets Liquides d'une industrie d'emballage en carton]

چکیده    In this work we are interested in the characterization of effluent from corrugated board packaging industry with the objective to highlight the nature of the pollution generated. results obtained were able to show that these releases are loaded with organic matter. indeed cod is about 3677mg/ l i.e. a pollutant load of 268 kg per day. the average value of bod5 is approximatively 785mg/ l; with a pollutant load higher than 57 kg per day. the average value of suspended solids load is a about 4762mg / l,i.e. a load of more than 348 kg per day. the average value of the turbidity was 5467 ntu. the average value of the electrical conductivity is of 2883μs / cm,with a ph value of 6.93. the daily rate is of the order of a day 73m3. based on such values,these liquid effluent are characterized by a high organic load. these effluents are not readily biodegradable (biodegradability index = 4.68). in accordance with current standards,these liquid industrial effluents require treatment before direct discharge into the environment or re-use[1].
