چکیده    The behavior of deep foundations consisting of a pile group is complex because it is influenced by a large number of parameters such as soil,pile,pile-soil contact,group effect and footing. this work contributes to understanding and analysis of soil-structure interaction of a pile foundation using a three-dimensional computer code plaxis 3d,based on the finite element method. it consists in a numerical model of pile-soil system subjected to static loads. the study includes a validation of the plaxis 3d model comparing to chore analytical model,the varying effect of distance between piles,and the effect of the piles diameter on the response of soil-pile system subjected to an horizontal static load. it revealed that the distribution of bending moments is dependent on the spacing between piles. on the spacing of 2d to 4d,the piles worked in group but they work also differently. it shows that the increase of piles diameter allows both an increase the stiffening and a decrease the horizontal displacements but not systematically induces a decrease of the internal forces.
