چکیده
|
In the south of morocco,the mobilization of non conventional recourses,to supply water has become a strategic choice. the desalination of sea and brackish water is an appropriate solution and a compelling alternative to satisfy the ever growing demand for water. the situation is vulnerable,especially in southern areas suffering water resources absence. this study focuses on the ability to produce potable water from brackish one,using thin-film composite membranes of nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. based on the recovery rate,global rejection rate,and the desalted water quality,a comparative study is made of the three membranes implemented with an assessment of their performances for brackish water salinity slightly higher than 5 g/l.
