   Physico-chemical quality of the waters of the Oued Seybouse (Northeastern Algeria): Characterization and Principal Component Analysis [Qualité Physico-Chimique des Eaux de l'Oued Seybouse (Nord-Est de l'Algérie): Caractérisation et Analyse en Composantes Principales]

چکیده    Five stations (s1,s2,s3,s4 and s5) have been followed throughout an annual (year 2012) cycle to assess the physicochemical water quality of oued seybouse. twelve parameters were measured (t °,ph,electrical conductivity,hardness,sulphate,ortho-phosphates,chlorides,dissolved oxygen,suspended solids,organic matter,and nitrogen compounds.) the last station (s5) located downstream of the river is the most polluted. the rate of sulphate,orthophosphates,chlorides,suspended solids and nitrogen compounds are the highest. this pollution is a consequence of the solid and liquid wild discharges that have a direct and significant impact on the quality of water throughout the river. a multivariate statistical study through pca (principal component analysis) revealed that the levels of these parameters remain however low upstream the course of water (s1 and s2) compared to the downstream (s5). s3 and s4 located,in the middle of the river stations present a moderate pollution. human anthropogenic actions (wastewater discharges,agricultural and industrial activities) without treatment in advance are the main cause of this generated pollution.
