   Chemical preparation,crystallographic characterization,vibrational study and thermal behavior of a new cyclotriphosphate Mn(NH4)4(P3O9)2.6H2O superphosphate fertilizer

چکیده    A new cyclotriphosphate hexahydrate of manganese and ammonium,mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o,was obtained as polycrystalline samples by the method of ion-exchange resin. its crystallographic characterization,vibrational study and thermal behavior are given. mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o crystallizes in the monoclinic system,c2/m,with the following unit cell parameters : a = 13.178(3)å,b = 11.030(2)å,c = 9.965(2)å,c = 126.76(2)° and z = 2. the p3o9 ring of mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o has a cs symmetry . the intermediate products of dehydration of mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o are mn2p4o12 and mn2p2o7. the total dehydration and calcination of mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o lead to a cyclotetraphosphate,mn2p4o12. the thermal behavior of the title compound has been investigated and interpreted by ir absorption and x-ray diffraction experiments. mn(nh4)4(p3o9)2.6h2o,mn2p4o12 and mn2p2o7 have been found to have a wide range of applications and can be used as catalysts,ion exchangers,reactants in ionic conditions,intercalation reactions,superphosphate fertilizers and as inorganic pigments in ceramics.
