|
Our work is a study of the saline soil of the northeast palm grove of marrakesh that determine its physical and chemical parameters and their mycorrhizal potential. twenty four samples of rhizosphere soil of date palm were collected,homogenized and then analyzed. the results show that the soil of this area is characterized by clay-loam nature,alkaline ph,low moisture,high salinity,high levels of available phosphorus,potassium and sulfur and an average content of total nitrogen. also,the chlorine content,calcium and iron are elevated in the soil explored. as for trace elements,manganese contents are very high and those of zinc and copper remained moderate to low compared to the needs of date palm. for against,the contents of lithium,arsenic,uranium and lead are relatively low in the soil studied compared to transition metals,titanium,silicon,strontium,zirconium and rubidium. furthermore,we determined the mycorrhizal potential,which represents the mycorrhizal fungi propagule density in the soil as spores,mycelium and vesicles,able to form mycorrhizae. the results revealed that the mycorrhizal potential of this rhizosphere soil is high. also,the extraction of spores allowed us to note that spores of glomus genus are more abundant than those of sclerocystis.
