In this work,the 3-phenyl propylamine (ppa) active agent models,endowed with pharmacological and biological properties was condensed with (m,p) vinyl-benzaldéhyde. the aldimine has obtained access by radical copolymerization with n-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone copolymer cp (ppa) at low molecular weight and good poly-molecular sought. the 3-phenyl propylamine (ppa) released by hydrolysis of the copolymer cp(ppa) was followed by uv spectrometry in homogeneous medium hydroethanolic (67/33%) in different buffered media at various ph [1,12 - 9,0]. on the other hand,cp (ppa) was dispersed in a matrix of eudragit rl at a composition of 80/20: w/w. in heterogeneous medium,one could evaluate the release rate of ppa in artificially reconstituted environments simulated as gastro-intestinal medium (ph=1,2; 6,0 and 8,0). the results show that the hydrolysis of the imines' function unit is apparent order in a homogeneous medium while it is largely controlled by the diffusion model according to the fick's law heterogeneous medium. the comparison of these two studies showed a delayed effect substantially larger in the heterogeneous medium than in the homogeneous medium especially in the short times.
