Contribution to the improvement of wastewater in a WWTP [Contribution à l'amélioration d'épuration des eaux usées dans une step]

The influence of supply mode,length of service,temperature and residence time,on the volume of the elutriated mud on the one hand,and on the other,on the parameters of pollution (cod,tss and bod5) has been clarified and highlighted by series of measurements taken at the decanters of the station of purification of m'zar of the city of agadir (morocco). the effect of the number of plates placed inside the decanter and their layout on the elutriated quantity was also studied by carrying out tests at the laboratory with a prototype decanter designed for this reason.
