Contribution to the study of physico-chemical analysis and metal contamination of coastal Agadir seawater. (South Morocco) [Contribution à l'étude de l'analyse physico-chimique et de la contamination métallique de l'eau de mer du littoral d'Agadir (Sud du Maroc).]

This work concerns,on the one hand,the study of the physicochemical parameters of seawater coastal agadir and secondly a diagnosis on the state of the trace metal pollution (cd,pb and hg). to conduct this study,monthly withdrawals (november 2013,january,april and july 2014) of sea water were carried out at four different areas of the bay of agadir. the choice of these four areas is mostly linked to socio-economic activities in the vicinity of each zone. the results obtained show that the metal concentrations in seawater exhibit significant variations depending on areas and the sampling seasons. zone 1 (tourist area) remains the least contaminated by heavy metals studied. a parallel study was also performed on the variation of the physicochemical parameters: ph,salinity,conductivity,temperature and dissolved oxygen. in the light of the results,interpretation of the data was made on the basis of the correlation between different parameters and distribution of study areas in groups according to the degree of heavy metal contamination.
