Indices of vulnerability of existing buildings in Oran [Indices de vulnérabilité des constructions existantes à Oran]

This article discusses an issue of protecting the environment by assessing the vulnerability of existing buildings in oran,prevention of seismic risk in urban areas in the objective is to rehabilitate the old building. the qualitative method to the urban scale with the selection of a representative site of oran by comparing three methods: gndt,risk-ue and vulneralp,selected based on the similarity between the buildings of the european south with the north algerian and above all oran. vulnerability indices were calculated for the sample of ctc (technical inspection of construction of oran) of 5193 buildings. considering the average damage dav obtained for each building of 5193,with the different methods for the four levels of intensity (7,8,9,10). a calibration is performed by quantitative methods: the building scale. the selected buildings,which are located on the perimeter of study,are an operating theater of the old hospital of oran (chu) and a unit of civil protection oran.
