   Simulation of short fiber orientation in thermoplastic matrix

چکیده    The polypropylene polymer mixed with curved fibers was injected into rectangular mold in order to improve its thermoplastic properties. the aim of this study is to investigate the effect of fibers orientation. the prediction of the orientation of short fibers within the polymer matrix was obtained by image processing method based on the method that determines ellipses orientation and size of fibers from a scanned image and then the results obtained were validated by imagej.
