چکیده    In this paper,we perform a mechanical study of pure and chemically modified agarose to better understand the intermolecular interactions and the choice of solvent underlying. this study is to calculate the elastic modulus of three agarose samples chemically modified m1,m2,m3. the goal of this work is to present a theoretical study based on the theory of de gennes [7] to calculate the elastic modulus of agarose gel as a function of polymer concentration. these theoretical results will then be confronted with the experimental results performed on the agarose gel. © 2017,university of mohammed premier oujda morocco.
