TUNING LONG TERM LOAD FORECASTING OF EGYPTIAN ELECTRIC NETWORK BY GENETIC ALGORITHM

The long-term forecasting problem is to determine an optimal future plan over several years of planning horizon. there are some kinds of methods to deal with load forecast. this paper describes electrical load forecasting using regression method, and comparing the result with the result of regression genetic hybrid approach. the data was treated before applied to the forecast methods. all redundant data or odd values must be treated. the regression criterion must be used for testing the techniques or approach and also defining the contribution of the independent attributes will be extracted.
