چکیده
|
The present paper is an attempt to develop a new heuristic algorithm, find the optimalsequence to minimize the utilization time of the machines and hence their rental cost for two stagespecially structured flow shop scheduling under specified rental policy in which processing times andset up time are associated with their respective probabilities including transportation time. furtherjobs are attached with weights to indicate their relative importance. the proposed method is verysimple and easy to understand and also provide an important tool for the decision maker. algorithm isjustified by numerical illustration.
