چکیده
|
Reports have shown the antioxidant, hypotensive, hypolipidemic and vasodilatory effectsof grape (vilis vinifera l.) seed extract. we have recently shown the relaxatory effec t ofgrap e leaf extract on rat uterus and redu ction of frog heart rate and con tractility. the aim ofthe present study was to inve stigate the relaxant effect of vilis vinifera leaf hydroalcoholicextract (vlhe) on rat thora cic aorta contractions induced by phenylephrine and kci and therole of aorta endothelium on this action. rat aort a was remo ved and placed in an organ bathcontaining krebs-henseleit solution and aorta contractions were recorded isometrica lly.the results demonstrate that vlhe (0.125-2 mg/ml) redu ces the end othelial intact aortarecon stru cted by phen ylephrine ( i ~im) dose-dependently (p
