بررسی روابط بینامتنی در نمایشنامه ی‌ بایستی دریا را آفرید و منطق ‌الطّیر عطّار

نمایشنامه ی بایستی دریا را آفرید از ژان-پیر اسپیلمون در زمره‌ اقتباس های موفق از منطق الطّیر عطّار است. اسپیلمون در این بازآفرینی سعی نموده تا در عین وفاداری به چارچوب اصلی منظومه عطّار، تغییرات قابل توجّهی را با در نظر گرفتن الزامات نمایشی در آن انجام دهد. از جمله دگرگونی‌های مهمی که در این اثر شاهد آن هستیم، تغییر در تعداد وادی‌های سلوک، حذف و تقلیل تعداد مرغان سالک و نیز تحوّل در دلالت‌های شخصیت سیمرغ می‌باشد. به بیان دیگر، اسپیلمون بنابر دیدگاه ناسوتی و جهان‌نگری ویژه خویش اثری متفاوت و مطابق با سلیقه مخاطبان معاصر ارایه داده است. در این پژوهش با توجه به نظریه بینامتنیت ژرار ژُنِت، درصدد بررسی و پاسخ به این پرسش‌ها هستیم که نمایشنامه‌‌نویس فرانسوی تا چه حد موفّق به انتقال پیام جهان‌شمول اثر عطّار در قالب یک نمایشنامه بوده است؟ و بنیان های اصلیداستان سفر مرغان دستخوش چه تحوّلات جدیدی در این اثر شده است؟ نتیجه تحلیل بینامتنی این اثر حاکی از آن است که در این متن حضور چند عنصر بینامتنی از جمله رهبر مرغان، وادی های سلوک و نیز مفهوم سیمرغ انکارناپذیر است، با این وجود تفاوت های شاخصی در دلالت های آن موجود میباشد که نشات گرفته از جهان نگری ویژه ی اسپیلمون است.

jean-pierre spilmont’s il fallait inventer la mer or we had to discover the sea (1994) is one of the most successful adaptations of attar neyshaboori’s the conference of the birds (1177). given the theatrical requirements of dramatic adaptation, spilmont made some adjustments to attar’s work while staying true to the main storyline of the birds’ journey toward simorg. the most prominent changes made to the storyline in this adaptation are as follows: the number of the valleys of love has been reduced to four, some of the characters have been omitted, and finally, the manifestations of simorg’s character have been altered. in other words, given his worldly viewpoint, spilmont has presented a unique work adapted to the expectations of the contemporary audience. employing gérard genette’s theory of intertextuality, this article attempts to answer the following questions: has spilmont been successful in conveying attar’s universal message in the form of a contemporary play? and can a contemporary audience relate to this work?
