زنانگی، هویت و خاطره گویی: بررسی رمان تصورات شن آندره برینک بر مبنای روایت‌درمانی

آفریقای جنوبی، کشوری که به دلیل داشتن قومیت های مختلف لقب ملت رنگین کمان را به خود گرفته است،در سه دهه اخیر و پس از گذار به دوره پساآپارتایدی، با چالش‌های سیاسی، فرهنگی، ملی، هویتی و جنسیتی متعددی مواجه بوده است. این وضعیت در ادبیات آفریقای جنوبی معاصر نیز رسوخ کرده و یکی از موضوعات بحث برانگیز برای بیشتر نویسنده‌گان این دوره به ویژه آندره برینک شده است. در رمان تصورات شن آندره برینک، بحران هویت زنان آفریکانر به نمایش گذاشته شده است و شبکه‌ای پیچیده از روایت‌های ملیت، هویت و زنانگی شکل گرفته است. پژوهش حاضر به بررسی چگونگی بازگویی خاطرات و اختلالات روانی شخصیت‌ها در رمان تصورات شن از منظر نظریه‌ی روایت درمانی می‌پردازد. روایت‌درمانی به ویژه از منظر مایکل وایت (1948-2008) رویکردی بینارشته‌ای در علوم انسانی پزشکی است که با آسیب شناسی سلامت ذهنی و روانی سر و کار دارد و به نقش روایت‌ در بازیابی حافظه و بازسازی هویت می‌پردازد. بر همین اساس، تناقض‌ها و تنش‌های هویتی در روایت‌های از هم گسیخته‌ی سه نسل از زنان راوی در این رمان بررسی و تحلیل شده‌اند.

femininity, identity and memory: an analysis of andre brink’s imaginings of sand based on narrative therapy

south africa, known as rainbow nation because of its different ethnicities, has faced several political, cultural and national challenges in the past three decades since the onset of the post-apartheid era. this situation is pervasive in contemporary south african literature and has become a controversial topic for most of the writers of this period, especially andre brink. in the imaginings of sand, the identity crisis of afrikaner women is portrayed and a complex network of narratives of nationality, identity and femininity has formed. being founded upon narrative therapy, the present study explores how the reviewing of memories is entangled with the mental defects of characters in the imaginings of sand. narrative therapy, particularly from the viewpoint of michael white (1948-2008), is an interdisciplinary method in medical humanities that deals with the pathology of mind and the role of narrative in the revival of memory and identity. accordingly, the contradictions and identity crises in the broken narratives of three generations of women narrators in this novel have been discussed and analyzed.
