سفر،آداب و وسایل آن؛ بررسی تمایزات اجتماعی مسافرت در جامعه ایران عصر قاجار(قبل از مشروطیت)

اقشار فرادست در جامعه‌ ایران عصر قاجار همیشه در پی آن بوده اند تا تفاوت ها و تمایزات اجتماعی خود را نسبت به اقشار و طبقات فرودست به طرق و شیوه های مختلف منعکس نمایند. یکی از این روش ها، نشان دادن تمایز اجتماعی از طریق وسایل، آداب و شیوه های مسافرت است. این پژوهش برآن است تا به روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و با بکار بستن نظریه‌ «تمایز» پیر بوردیو برای این سوالات پاسخ مناسب را بیابد: آیا اشراف و اعیان جامعه ایران در عصر قاجار به مسافرت و وسایل و آداب آن فقط به عنوان امری ضرورت پسند و برای رفع نیاز می نگریستند؟ یا اینکه آنان علاوه بر مسئله ضرورت؛ نگاه ذوقی؛ زیباشناختی و هنردوستانه نیز به آن داشته اند؟ نگاه اقشار فرودست جامعه ایران عصر قاجار نسبت به مسئله سفر و آداب و وسایل آن بر اساس کدام یک از این شاخص ها بوده است؟ این پژوهش بر این فرض اساسی استوار است که برخلاف طبقات بالای جامعه ایران عصر قاجار که به سفر و آداب و وسایل آن، نگاه هنری؛ سلیقه مندانه و زیباشناختی داشته اند، طبقات پایین جامعه به مسافرت به چشم امری مورد نیاز و ضرورت نگاه می کردند. یافته های این پژوهش نشان می دهد اقشار ممتاز جامعه که نیاز اساسی خود به مسافرت و وسایل آن را به آسانی برآورده می ساختند، بیشتر در پی آشکار ساختن و انعکاس هویت و منزلت اجتماعی خود و نشان دادن تشخّص و تفاخر طبقاتی از طریق آداب سفر و تجمل؛ شکوه و زیبایی در وسایل مسافرت برمی آمدند، در حالی که توده مردم و اقشار پایین جامعه بدون توجه چندانی به تجمل گرایی؛ زیبایی دوستی و یا هرگونه ذوق و سلیقه هنری، به مسافرت، آداب و وسایل آن  تنها به چشم ابزاری برای رفع نیاز و ضرورت می نگریستند.

travel, its customs and equipment; investigating the social distinctions of travel in iran during the qajar era

the superior classes and classes in the iranian society of the qajar era have always sought to reflect their differences and social distinctions with respect to the inferior classes and classes in different ways and ways. one of these methods is to show social distinction through means, manners and methods of travel. this research aims to find the appropriate answer to these questions by descriptive-analytical method and by applying pierre bourdieu’s &distinction& theory: did the nobles of the iranian society in the qajar era travel and its means and customs only as a matter of necessity. are you looking for something to meet your needs? did they have an aesthetic and artistic side to it? the view of the lower classes of the qajar era iranian society towards the issue of travel and its customs and equipment was based on which of these indicators? the findings of this research show that the privileged sections of the society, who could easily fulfill their basic need for travel and its means, are more in pursuit of revealing and reflecting their identity and social status and showing class identity and pride through travel etiquette and luxury; magnificence and beauty were seen in the means of travel, while the mass of people and the lower strata of society did not pay much attention to luxury; aesthetics or any artistic taste, they look at travel, its customs and equipment only as a tool to meet the need and necessity.
