گذشتۀ گذشته و آیندۀ گذشته: بررسی لایه‌های زمانی در تاریخ یعقوبی

گزارش مورخان از رویدادهای گذشتۀ خود به طور هم‌زمان تحت تاثیر گذشتۀ آن رویدادها و آیندۀ آنها قرار دارد. گذشتۀ تاریخی و یا گذشتۀ گذشته به رویدادهای پیش از دورۀ معاصر مورخ گفته می‌شود. در مقابل آیندۀ تاریخی شامل آیندۀ عاملان و کنشگران تاریخی و همچنین شامل آیندۀ خود مورخ می‌شود. اصطلاح آیندۀ گذشته که توسط کوزلک ابداع شد، بر این حقیقت تاکید داشت که آینده قبل از زمان آستانه‌ای که مقارن با عصر روشنگری بود و بعد از آن به طور متفاوتی دیده می‌شود. کوزلک به این عدم تقارن بر اساس زمان آستانه‌ای و تبعات آن برای نوشتن تاریخ توجه زیادی کرد. اصطلاح گذشتۀ گذشته نیز از خلال نظریات کوزلک در مورد گذشته اتخاذ شد. کوزلک این مفاهیم را برای تشریح مفهوم پایه‌ای زمان تاریخی استفاده کرد. بخش اول این مقاله به مفهوم زمان تاریخی می‌پردازد، در کنار دو دسته‌بندی فضای تجربه و افق انتظار که از ملزومات زمان تاریخی هستند. بخش دوم این مقاله ضمن پرداختن به مفهوم لایه‌های زمانی مستتر در هر رویداد، مفهوم آینده گذشته و گذشتۀ گذشته را بیشتر تشریح می‌کند. بخش سوم این مقاله از کتاب تاریخ یعقوبی به‌عنوان مطالعۀ موردی برای بررسی مفهوم گذشتۀ گذشته و تاثیر آن در نگارش رویدادهای تاریخی صحبت می‌کند و در آخر نیز مفهوم آیندۀ گذشته در این کتاب مورد بررسی قرار می گیرد

past past and future past: a study of the layers of time in yaʿḳūbī ’s taʾrīkh

historians’ accounts of their past events are simultaneously influenced by the past of those events and their future. the historical past or the “pasts past” refers to pre-contemporary events of the historian. in contrast, the historical future includes the future of historical agents and actors, as well as the future of the historian. accordingly, the main question of this article is how yaʿḳūbī, as a case study, was influenced by past and future events in his narrative. the term “futures past,” coined by koselleck, was used to emphasize the fact that the future was seen differently before the sattelzeit, which coincided with the age of enlightenment. koselleck paid close attention to this asymmetry, based on the sattelzeit time and its consequences for writing history. the term “pasts past” was also adopted from koselleck’s views on the past. koselleck used these terms to describe the basic concept of “historical time.” therefore, the first part of this article deals with the concept of historical time”, along with the two categories, called “the space of experience” and “the horizon of expectation,” which are essential for understanding historical time. the second part of this article discusses these concepts and terms in tarikh-e-yaghubi
