مُهر نویافتۀ ساسانی در چین

مُهرها ازجمله اشیاء باارزشی هستند که سابقه بسیار طولانی در تاریخ دارند. بنا بر شواهد باستان شناسی قدمت این اشیاء به هزاره ششم قبل از میلاد بازمی گردد. چنان که از اسناد و مدارک برمی آید، مُهر در طیّ ادوار تاریخی تحولات زیادی پشت سرگذاشته است؛ به طوری که طرح ها، شکل ها، رنگ ها و کتیبه های آن بنا به شرایط زمانی دست‌خوش تغییر شده و هریک از تعلیقاتش، مفاهیم پیچیده ای را در خود کتمان کرده است. مهرها کاربردهای متعددی چون اداری، سیاسی، اقتصادی، دینی، قضایی و غیره داشته اند؛ از این رو، تحلیل و تفسیر تعلیقات آنها می‌تواند برخی از ابعاد سیاسی، اجتماعی، اقتصادی، دینی، فرهنگی و زبانی هر دورۀ تاریخی را روشن سازد و به سبب دامنه اطلاعاتی آنها در حوزه های متعدد، گفتار حاضر درصدد آن است تا با بررسی یک نمونه از این آثار که اخیراً در چین یافت شده است، برخی از زوایای آن را روشن سازد و به این پرسش ها پاسخ دهد که مُهر مکشوفه در چین حاوی چه نوع اطلاعاتی است و کارکرد آن چه بوده است؟ و چرا شاهان یا حاکمان و یا سایر اقشار جامعه از این ابزار استفاده می‌کرده اند؟ بررسی های مقدماتی در حوزۀ خط شناسی نشان می‌دهد که این وسیله باارزش مربوط به دورۀ ساسانی است، ولی کارکرد آن دقیقاً مشخص نیست.

Sassanid Seals in China

Seals are of the most valuable things that enjoy a long history. According to the archaeological evidences, their antiquity goes back to the 6th century BC. As it comes out of the documents, the seals have experienced many changes during the historical periods, in a way that their designs, their shapes, their colors and the words or signs inscribed on them have been the subject of changes based on the conditions of times, and each of these alterations holds complex concepts. Numerous applications such as administrative, political, economic, religious, judicial, etc. are imaginable for seals. So, the analysis and interpretation of their alterations can make some of the political, social, economic, religious, cultural and linguistic aspects of each historical period clear, and due to the scope of obtained data in several areas, it has been tried in present study to clarify some of its aspects through examining a newlydiscovered seal in China to find out what kind of data it contains and what it was used for? Why kings, rulers and even other people used it? The preliminary studies have been conducted in the field of graphology show that this valuable tool belongs to the Sassanid era, however its exact function is unknown.
