مطالعه تطبیقی روایات قتل‌عام مردم تبریز در (993ه.ق/1585م) توسط قوای عثمانی در منابع تاریخی عثمانی و صفوی

از اتفاقات تلخ در خلال جنگ‌های ایران و عثمانی، قتل‌عام مردم تبریز در دوران اشغال آن شهر در سال993 ه.ق بود. این واقعه از زمان وقوع تا روزگار اخیر پیوسته محل بحث و مجادله بوده است. دراین‌بین به طور خاص دو نوع روایت مطرح است: یکی منابع موجود صفوی و دیگری منابع مورخان عثمانی. مورخان راجع به این مسئله از زاویه دید و خاستگاه خود نگریسته و گزارش‌های متنوعی را ثبت نموده‌اند. آنچه در این روایات بیشتر مورد تاکید است و بسامد بالایی دارد واژه «قتل‌عام» است. اخبار متفاوت در بازسازی و بازنمایی دقیق واقعه تاریخی، می‌تواند نشان‌دهنده جنبه‌های مختلف بروز آن رخدادها باشد. به طور طبیعی روایت‌های مختلف از یک واقعه واحد توسط راویان با خاستگاه و انگیزه‌های متفاوت، احتمالاً باعث تضعیف اقتدار روایت شده و خود به‌تنهایی می‌تواند محور و منبعی برای تاویل و تفسیرهای متعدد گردد.این مقاله باهدف واکاوی و مقایسه نحوه بازنمایی این واقعه در منابع دو طرف درگیر، نگاشته شده است. سوال اصلی این پژوهش این است «مورخان عثمانی و صفوی چگونه به توصیف این واقعه پرداخته‌اند و چه شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌های بنیادینی در روایت‌های آنان وجود دارد؟» فلذا این مقاله بر آن است با قراردادن دو نوع نگاه در کفه ترازو، به بررسی و نقد شباهت‌ها و تفاوت‌های تاریخ‌نگاری بپردازد تا بدین‌طریق به درک و معرفت واقعه کمک کند. یافته‌های تحقیق حکایت از آن دارد که تشابهات و اختلافات تاریخ‌نگاری در روایت‌های واقعه قتل‌عام مردم تبریز به دست قوای عثمانی وجود دارد.

a comparative study of the narratives of the massacre of the people of tabriz in (993 ah/1585 ce) by ottoman forces in ottoman and safavid historical sources

one of the most bitter events during the iran-ottoman wars was the massacre of the people of tabriz during the occupation of that city in 993 ah. this event has been a subject of constant debate and controversy from its occurrence to recent times. twotypes of narratives are particularly relevant: those found in existing safavid sourcesand those in ottoman historical accounts. historians have looked at this issue fromtheir own perspectives and backgrounds, recording various reports. the termmassacre is most emphasized and frequently used in these narratives. differentaccounts, in reconstructing and representing the historical event more accurately andclearly, can reveal different aspects of what occurred. multiple narratives of a singleevent naturally weaken the authority of any one account and can themselves becomethe focus and source of multiple interpretations. this article aims to examine andcriticize the similarities and differences in the historiography of the two rival frontsby comparing and contrasting these perspectives to help better understand the event.it is expected that, while clarifying possible ambiguities, the significance of theevent will be highlighted from the perspectives of both reliable and biasednarratives, and the reader will gain the necessary insight into the hidden aspects ofthe event. the main question of this research is, why and how did the massacreoccur? the findings indicate that a widespread massacre took place.
