نقش قضاوت‌های اخلاقی در نگارش تاریخ «بررسی چالش‌ها و پیامدها»

این مقاله به بررسی نقش قضاوت‌های اخلاقی در تاریخ‌نگاری، با تاکید بر چالش‌ها و پیامدهای آن می‌پردازد. مسئلۀ اصلی پژوهش، نسبت میان ارزش‌گذاری اخلاقی و عینیت تاریخی است؛ اینکه آیا و چگونه، مورخ می‌تواند در عین پایبندی به اصول روشمند، به داوری اخلاقی دربارۀ گذشته دست بزند. با بهره‌گیری از چارچوبی نظری متشکل از چهار سنت تاملی، تحلیلی، روایی و انتقادی-اخلاقی، دیدگاه‌های متنوع فیلسوفان و تاریخ‌نگاران در این زمینه بررسی شده است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که رویکردهای سنتی، بر حذف داوری اخلاقی به نفع عینیت تاکید دارند؛ در حالی‌که سنت‌های معاصر، اخلاق را بخشی جدایی‌ناپذیر از روایت تاریخی می‌دانند. مقاله با تحلیل چالش‌هایی چون آناکرونیسم، سوگیری، تحریف ایدئولوژیک و فشارهای اجتماعی، نشان می‌دهد که قضاوت‌های اخلاقی می‌توانند، از یک سو، ابزار تقویت حافظۀ تاریخی و عدالت باشند و از سوی دیگر، در صورت سوءاستفاده، به تحریف گذشته بینجامند. در پایان، بر ضرورت دستیابی به رویکردی میان‌گرایانه تاکید می‌شود؛ رویکردی که بر پایۀ عینیت انتقادی و مسئولیت‌پذیری اخلاقی مورخ استوار باشد.

this article examines the role of moral judgments in historiography, focusing on the challenges and consequences they entail. the central question concerns the relationship between ethical evaluation and historical objectivity: whether and how a historian can engage in moral judgments about the past while remaining committedto methodological rigor. drawing on a theoretical framework composed of fourtraditions-reflective, analytical, narrative, and critical-ethical-this studies examinesdiverse perspectives offered by philosophers and historians on the subject. thefindings indicate that traditional approaches emphasize the exclusion of moraljudgment to preserve objectivity, while contemporary traditions regard ethics as anintegral component of historical narration. through an analysis of issues such asanachronism, bias, ideological distortion, and social pressure, the articledemonstrates that moral judgments can serve both as instruments for enhancinghistorical memory and justice, and, when misused, as sources of distortion of thepast. ultimately, the article advocates for a balanced approach grounded in criticalobjectivity and the ethical responsibility of the historian.
