چکیده
|
Asthma is considered to be the most commonrespiratory disorder complicating pregnancy. seventysixasthmatic and 152 non-asthmatic pregnant womenwere studied. maternal asthma was significantlyassociated with adverse infant outcomes, includingprematurity, low birth weight and the need forcesarean delivery. the results of this study couldindicate that pregnant women with asthma were atsubstantially increased risk for adverse infant outcomesand suggest the need for extra attention to mothers withasthma before and during pregnancy.
