The Comparison of Depression and Anxiety Between Fertile and Infertilcouples: A Meta-Analysis Study

Background: depression and anxiety are the most common reaction in infertile couples. several studies have been conducted to examine the psychiatric disorders among infertile and fertile couples.objective: this metaanalysis was conducted to compare the depression and anxiety in fertile and infertile couples in various studies.materials and methods: the authors searched articles published in multiple databases including world health organization, pubmed, cochrane library, scopus, science direct, medline embase and persian databases including scientific informatiodatabase (sid) and iranmedx between 2005 and 2017. the main keywords used fosearching the databases were: depression, anxiety, infertility, and fertility. statistical analyses were performed using comprehensive metaanalysis/2.0 software.results: the authors found 42 related articles after searching the databases. 11 articles entered the metaanalysis after considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. finally,eight articles were chosen for the comparison of depression and anxiety, two published articles for the comparison of depression, and one published article to compare anxiety in fertile and infertile couples. the results of the heterogeneity test showed a significant heterogeneity among all articles that were analyzed in this metaanalysis in the field of depression and anxiety. the results showed that depression (p= 0.0001; hedges rsquo;g= 1.21; 95% ci 0.63 -1.78) and anxiety (p= 0.00001; hedges rsquo;g= 0.63; 95% ci 0.54 -0.73) were higher in infertile couples than fertile couples and that the possibility of a publication bias does not exist in this study.conclusion: the analysis of articles used in this metaanalysis showed that depression and anxiety scores in infertile couples were higher than fertile couples.

مقایسه افسردگی و اضطراب در زوجین بارور و نابارور: یک مطالعه متاآنالیز

مقدمه: افسردگی و اضطراب از شایعترین واکنش ها در زوج های نابارور هستند. مطالعات متعددی برای بررسی اختلالات روانپزشکی در زوجین نابارور و بارور انجام شده است. بنابراین، این متاآنالیز برای مقایسه افسردگی و اضطراب در زوج های بارور و نابارور در مطالعات مختلف انجام شده است.هدف: این متاآنالیز برای مقایسه افسردگی و اضطراب در زوج های بارور و نابارور در مطالعات مختلف انجام شده است.موارد و روش ها: پژوهشگران مقاله های مرتبط را در پایگاه های اطلاعاتی از جمله WHO، PubMed،Cochrane Library ، Scopus، Science Direct، Medline، EMBASE و پایگاه های فارسی شامل پایگاه مرکز اطلاعات جهاد دانشگاهی (SID) و IranMedx در سال های 2005 تا 2017 جستجو کردند. کلید واژه های اصلی که برای جستجو استفاده شد افسردگی، اضطراب، ناباروری، باروری بود. تجزیه و تحلیل آماری با استفاده از نرم افزار Comprehensive Meta Analysis/2.0 انجام شد.نتایج: با جستجو در پایگاه های اطلاعاتی 42 مقاله بازیابی شد. پس از بررسی معیارهای ورود و خروج، 11 مقاله وارد مطالعه شد. در نهایت، 8 مقاله منتشر شده در مورد مقایسه افسردگی و اضطراب، 2 مقاله منتشر شده در مورد مقایسه افسردگی و 1 مقاله منتشر شده در مورد مقایسه اضطراب در زوج های بارور و نابارور انتخاب شدند. نتایج حاصل از آزمون ناهمگونی نشان دهنده ناهمگونی معناداری در میان تمام مقالاتی که در این متاآنالیز در زمینه افسردگی و اضطراب وارد شد، بود. نتایج نشان داد که افسردگی (1/780/63CI= ،95% ;1/21Hedges rsquo;g= 0/0001p=) و اضطراب (0/730/54CI= ،95% ;0/63Hedges rsquo;g= 0/00001p=) در زوجین نابارور بیشتر از زوجین بارور بود. نتایج نشان داد که احتمال تورش انتشار در این مطالعه وجود ندارد.نتیجه گیری: تجزیه و تحلیل مقالات وارد شده در این متاآنالیز نشان داد که نمرات افسردگی و اضطراب در زوج های نابارور بالاتر از زوج های بارور است.
