چکیده
|
An asymptomatic fungal cyst of a conjunctival infection wasfound and removed by biopsy in a young shepherdess. histopathologicevaluations of the excised tissue specimen from thelesion of the conjunctiva demonstrated an epithelium linedcavity containing a tangled mycelial mass that was surroundedby inflammatory cells and the fungus was identified as bipolarisspicifera. it is concluded that asymptomatic conjunctivalinfections by fungi may occur without a having previous historyof trauma or having any signs of inflammation
