چکیده
|
Basal encephalocele is a rare craniofacial anomaly. in the presentpaper we report a 10-year-old boy presented with cleftpalate, congenital nystagmus, and hypertelorism. during preoperativeevaluation for cleft palate repair, a pulsatile masswas detected in the pharynx. magnetic resonance imagingshowed sphenoethmoidal type of basal encephalocele andagenesis of corpus callosum. neurosurgical consultation wasperformed for further evaluation and management.
