|
Ba-sapo-34 zeolite membrane was formed by membrane synthesis process using microwave (mw) heating and followed by membrane ion-exchange process with ba^2+ cation. the ba-sapo-34 zeolite membrane was tested for the separation of co2 from the co2/ch4 binary gas mixture. the effects of separation temperature, pressure difference across the membrane and co2 concentration in the feed on the separation performance of the ba-sapo-34 membrane were studied. by feeding co2/ch4 binary mixture with 5–50 % co2 to the ba-sapo-34 at 303 k and 100 kpa pressure difference, high co2/ch4 separation selectivities in the range of 103–276 were obtained.
