چکیده
|
Although meningiomas are common tumors of the central nervous system,primary extracranial meningiomas are extremely rare. these tumors constitute approximately1% of all meningiomas. this study has reported a very rare case of meningioma on the left carotid sheath that presented as a left neck mass. we performed a core biopsy of the mass. subsequently,the tumor was excised and histopathologic examination confirmed the diagnosis of primary extra cranial meningioma. © 2017,shiraz university of medical sciences. all rights reserved.
