تحلیل گزارش میراث مکتوب امامیه از چگونگی پایان زندگانی پیشوایان دین

مساله نگاشته حاضر کنکاشی در چیستی کلمات به کار گرفته شده در میراث مکتوب امامیه از پایان زندگانی ائمه اطهار علیهم السلام و دست یابی به مقصود آنان می باشد؛ از این رو واژه شهادت و بررسی رابطه آن با واژگان قتل، موت و وفات محور این پژوهش است. فرآیند این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد هرچند در برخی تعابیر واژه قتل، موت و وفات نقش آفرینی می‌کند، اما بررسی مفهومی واژه شهادت نشان می‌دهد، مقصود از به کارگیری واژگانِ جانشین، نفی مقومات مفهومی شهادت نمی‌باشد، بلکه تطور رقیق مفهومی این واژگان در زمانه‌های پسین به انحصار یافتن هر یک، در مفهومی ویژه و بار معنایی خاص انجامیده است و بر این اساس نمی‌توان تلقیِ عصر جدید را بر مفاهیم دوره‌های گذشته تحمیل و برداشت‌های غیرواقعی از آن واژگان، همانند انکار شهادت برخی از معصومان را از گزاره های تاریخی و حدیثی نتیجه گرفت و این مسئله که جزء باورها و عقاید امامیه است به چالش کشید.
