بررسی حوزه واژگانی و جهانی ‌های زبان در ارتباط با اعضای بدن در فارسی و انگلیسی: رویکردی رده‌ شناختی

مطالعه حاضر با اتخاذ رویکردی رده‌ شناختی، به بررسی تطبیقی واژگان مرتبط با اعضای بدن در زبان‌های فارسی و انگلیسی می‌پردازد. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی وجوه اشتراک و افتراق این دو زبان در نام‌گذاری و طبقه‌بندی اندام‌های تحتانی بدن انسان و همچنین ارزیابی اعتبار جهانی‌های زبان در این حوزه است. یافته‌ها حاکی از آن است که زبان‌های فارسی و انگلیسی، علی‌رغم تفاوت‌های زبانی و فرهنگی، در طبقه‌بندی کلی اندام‌های تحتانی بدن انسان اشتراکات قابل‌توجهی دارند. در هر دو زبان، شش بخش اصلی برای این اندام‌ها شناسایی می‌شود، اما در جزئیات نام‌گذاری و طبقه‌بندی تفاوت‌هایی مشاهده می‌گردد. این تفاوت‌ها می‌تواند نشانگر تاثیر فرهنگ و جهان‌بینی هر زبان بر درک و توصیف بدن باشد. همچنین، بررسی جهانی‌های زبان نشان می‌دهد اکثر جهانی‌ها در هر دو زبان صدق می‌کنند، اما نام‌گذاری مجزای انگشتان دست‌وپا، در زبان فارسی صدق نمی‌کند. این یافته‌ها موید این نکته است که زبان‌ها، در عین داشتن اشتراکات، می‌توانند نظام‌های معنایی متفاوتی برای توصیف بدن انسان داشته ‌باشند.

lexical field and language universals analysis of body parts in persian and english: a typological approach

this study employed a typological approach to examine the terminology used for lower body parts in persian and english. the aim was to identify commonalities and divergences in the naming and categorization of the parts of the lower limb, while also assessing the validity of proposed linguistic universals in this field. despite linguistic and cultural differences, the findings revealed significant similarities in the general classification of lower limbs between the two languages, with six main categories identified in both. however, variations exist in the specific terminology and categorization details, suggesting the influence of cultural and worldview differences on bodily conceptualization. further, an examination of language universals indicates that while some hold true across both languages, others are not fully supported. this research underscores that even with shared underlying concepts, languages can exhibit distinct semantic systems in their representation of the human body.
