1st Symposium on Y-Chromosome Human Proteome Project

Chromosome-centric human proteome project (c-hpp) is a recent initiative to rationalizeand analyze gene-protein and protein-protein interactions in normal and disease conditions.this initiative is aimed to generate the proteomic atlas explaining the molecular architectureof the human body and was initiated in response to the hurdles identified duringanalyzing the human genome project (hgp). a need for the experimental observation oftranslated proteins was felt to analyze precisely what is going on in the cell. 25 countriesaround the world are participating in the c-hpp. this symposium report will introduce they-chromosome hpp which is undergoing in iran by eminent molecular biologists of royaninstitute, tehran and its collaborates.
