چکیده    In the present work, radio frequency (rf) plasma was applied to modify the films surfaces of polylactide acid as biodegradable polymers. the co2 gases were preferably selected for modifying the surface of polla207. this gas causes appropriate hydrophilicity and surface energy with high polar component. the surface structure, topography, biocompatibility and surface chemistry of treated films were characterized by contact angle measurement, scanning electron microscope (sem) optical invert microscope. the cell affinity of the co2 plasma treated films was evaluated by nervous tissue b-65 cell culture in stationary conditions. the results showed that the hydrophilicity increased greatly after co2 plasma treatment. the results showed that improved cell adhesion was attributed to the combination of surface chemistry and surface morphology during plasma treatment. cell culture results showed that b-65 cell attachment and growth on the modified biodegradable polymer was much higher than that on the unmodified one .surface hydrophilicity, surface energy with high polar component and c-o- containing groups may play an important role in enhancing cell attachment and growth
