Model Pengguna K-Stailo Melalui Teknik Petua Mudah

This research it part of ongoing research which emphasize the user modeling in adaptive web based education system (awbes). adaptation personalization was taken from cognitive learning style, global/analytical and dunn & dunn model, visual/verbal learning style. user modeling based on expert knowledge representation and simple rule based artificial intelligent technique was used to infer the users learning style. the objective of this research is to see the validity of rule based expert knowledge representation can be practically accepted in user modeling for awbes prototype development, k-stailo. the inference engine through this technique is developed by using vb.net programming. the user modeling will aware and detect any clicking activities that have been made by the users from the beginning until the end of their k-stailo usage. through this user behavior k-stailo will predict the user’s learning style. the test by precision formula shows 80% k-stailo prediction was accurate and significant test also show that rule based knowledge representation can be accepted as the replacement of questionnaire to predict user’s learning style in awbes.
