رابطه سواد اطلاعاتی با توانایی برقراری ارتباط کتابداران کتابخانه‌های دانشگاهی

مقدمه: اﻣﺮوزه توانایی ﺑﺮﻗﺮاری ارﺗﺒﺎط موثر و سواد اطلاعاتی از اﻟﺰاﻣﺎت اشتغال کتابداران در کتابخانه‌هاست. ﮐﺘﺎﺑﺪاران ﺷﺎﻏﻞ در کتابخانه‌ها ﺑﺎ برخورداری از سواد اطلاعاتی مناسب و توانایی ﺑﺮﻗﺮاری ارﺗﺒﺎط ﺷﺎﯾﺴﺘﻪ ﺑﺎ ﮐﺎرﺑﺮان می‌توانند ﻧﻘﺶ ﻣﻬﻤﯽ در ﻣﺮﺗﻔﻊ ﻧﻤﻮدن ﻧﯿﺎزﻫﺎی اﻃﻼﻋﺎﺗﯽ آنان داﺷﺘﻪ ﺑﺎﺷﻨﺪ. بنابراین ﺑﺮرﺳﯽ این مقوله‌ها ضروری است.روش‌شناسی: پژوهش حاضر از لحاظ هدف کاربردی، از نوع توصیفی‌‌همبستگی است. داده‌ها از نمونه‌ای به‌ تعداد 130 نفر به‌روش تصادفی ساده گردآوری شد. جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر، شامل کتابداران کتابخانه‌های دانشگاه‌ فردوسی مشهد، علوم پزشکی مشهد و آزاد اسلامی مشهد (165 نفر) و همچنین کتابداران کتابخانه‌های دانشگاه بیرجند، علوم پزشکی بیرجند و آزاد اسلامی بیرجند (25 نفر) بودند که به‌صورت تمام‌وقت در زمان انجام پژوهش (سال 1397) مشغول ارائه خدمت بودند. به‌منظور گردآوری داده‌ها از دو پرسشنامه سواد اطلاعاتی نیک­پور، منظری توکلی و رجائی­نژاد (1391) با ضریب پایایی 94 درصد و پرسشنامه مهارت‌های ارتباطی کتابداران رهنما (1391) با ضریب پایایی 73 درصد استفاده گردید.یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها حاکی از آن بود بین سواد اطلاعاتی و مهارت‌های ارتباطی کتابداران رابطه مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد؛ و میزان مهارت‌های ارتباطی و سواد اطلاعاتی کتابداران شهرهای مشهد و بیرجند با هم تفاوتی نداشت. همچنین بین تمام ابعاد «سواد اطلاعاتی» شامل تشخیص نیاز اطلاعاتی، مکان‌یابی اطلاعات، ارزیابی اطلاعات و استفاده موثر از اطلاعات و مهارت‌های ارتباطی کتابداران، رابطه مثبت و معناداری وجود داشت.نتیجه‌: نتایج آشکار ساخت میزان مهارت‌های ارتباطی و سواد اطلاعاتی کتابداران متخصص و غیرمتخصص با هم تفاوتی ندارد. همچنین ویژگی‌های جمعیت‌شناختی (جنسیت، سطح تحصیلات و سابقه خدمت) نقشی در سواد اطلاعاتی و مهارت‌های ارتباطی کتابداران نداشت.

The Relationship between Librarians’ Information Literacy and Their Ability to Communicate in Academic Libraries

Introduction: Today, the ability to establish effective communication and information literacy is one of the librarians’ employment requirements. In libraries with using appropriate information literacy and the ability to communicate properly with users, librarians can play an important role in raising their information needs. Therefore all of these categories are necessary.Methodology: The present study is descriptivecorrelative in terms of its purpose. Data were collected from a sample of 130 people by simple random sampling. The statistical population of the study included librarians of the libraries of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Mashhad’s Islamic Azad University (Number, 163), as well as librarians of the Birjand University libraries and Islamic Azad University of Birjand (Number, 25) who were fulltime at the time of the research (2018). Data were gathered using two questionnaires: Nikpour, Landscape and Rajaee Nejad (2012) with a reliability coefficient of 94 percent and communication skills of Rahnama Librarians (2012) with a reliability coefficient of 73 percent.Findings: Findings indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between information literacy and librarian communication skills and the amount of communication skills and information literacy of librarians in Mashhad and Birjand cities did not differ. There was a positive and significant relationship between all aspects of &information literacy& including identifying information needs, locating information, evaluating information, and efficient use of information and communication skills of librarians.Conclusion: The results reveal that the level of communication skills and information literacy of librarians and nonspecialists are not the same. Also, demographic characteristics (gender, level of education, and service record) did not play a role in librarians’ information literacy and communication skills.Keywords: Information Literacy, Communication Skills, Librarians, Academic Libraries
