تحریر دیدگاه شیخ صدوق در وحدت «مُعاذ بن مسلم» و «مُعاذ بن کثیر»

یکی از موانع شناسایی هویت راویان در بررسی های سندی، عناوین متعدد راوی در قالب کنیه، لقب و اسم و نیز اشتراک یک اسم بر مصادیق مختلف است. در همین رابطه شیخ صدوق مدعی است «معاذ بن مسلم» و «معاذ بن کثیر» هویت یکسانی دارند. در کتب رجالی، تاریخی و حدیثی برای معاذ بن مسلم، اسامی «الهرا، الفرا، بیّاع الهروی و نحوی» و برای معاذ بن کثیر نام های «کسایی، بیّاع الاکسیه‌، صاحب الاکسیه‌ و بیّاع الکرابیس» ذکر شده است. از آنجا که برای معاذ بن کثیر برخلاف معاذ بن مسلم، توثیقی در کتب رجالی متقدم وجود ندارد، اثبات اتحاد این دو راوی، موجب توثیق معاذ بن کثیر نیز می گردد. طبق شواهد ارائه شده، عنوان مشترک معاذ بن مسلم در منابع تاریخی و روایی سبب شده است تا برخی متاخران، ویژگی طویل العمر بودن شخصیت تاریخی را به شخصیت روایی سرایت دهند. این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد با توجه به اتحاد طبقه، شغل، محل سکونت، مقام و شان معاذ بن مسلم و معاذ بن کثیر نزد امام صادق (ع)، صحت ادعای شیخ صدوق تایید می شود و در نتیجه، توثیق معاذ بن کثیر نیز به‌دست می آید.

Verification of Sheikh Sadouqh’s opinion about the sameness of Mo’az Ibn-Moslem and Mo’az Ibn-Kathir

In other words, an author may have been recorded with different first names, second names or pennames. In this respect, Sheikh Sadouqh claims that Mo’az IbnMoslem and Mo’az IbnKathir are, indeed, one person. History books as well as books of Hadiths and citations have referred to  Mo’az IbnMoslem as AlHera, AlFera, Bayya UlHarvi wa AlNahwi and to Mo’az IbnKathir as Kasayie, Bayya UlAksyeh, Sahib UlAksyeh and Bayya UlKarabis. Reports on citations assume authenticity for Mo’az IbnMoslem but not for Mo’az IbnKathir. Therefore, in case that these two persons are proved to be the same, Mo’az IbnKathir will emerge as an authentic figure too. As the evidence shows, due to the name resemblance, some recent scholars have attributed the longevity of Mo’az IbnMoslem, as the real figure, to Mo’az IbnKathir, as the referential figure. According to the findings of this research, these two figures have been reported with the same social class, job and living place in many documents. Besides, they have been equally favored by Imam Sadeqh (pbuh). This brings one to the conclusion that Sheikh Sadouqh’s claim about the sameness of these two persons is correct, and   Mo’az IbnKathir is thus authenticated.
