چکیده
|
This article focused on the credibility of muhammad bin ‘abd al-rahman al-sakhawi (m.902 h/1496 m) as a historian by analyzing his methods in his works. to analyze any muslims historian, several criteria will be examined which is the scholarly background, the sources and the analysis of the sources. these three criteria will be used to assess al-sakhawi credibility. research findings shows that al-sakhawi is a credible historian because of his strong background as a historian, he use the right sources and show a great analysis on his sources.
