HYPEREOSINOPHILIC SYNDROME: REPORT OF A CASE AND REVIEW OF LITERATURE

Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome represents a heterogeneous group ofleukoprolifrative disorders associated with prolonged eosinophilia of an undetectable cause with multiorgan system dysfunction. it is a rare group disorder in children, most cases are reported in adult agegroup. we report a child with this syndrome who along with the usual features of the syndrome also hadthe presentation of cardiac and neurologic complications which did not respond to treatment.
