چکیده
|
Multicentric reticulohistiocytosis (mrh) is a rare proliferative histiocytic disease ofunknown cause with potentially disabling nature. primary manifestations are involvement of skin andjoints. the articular destruction can lead to permanent joint deformities. our patient was a 47 year-oldwoman with bilateral symmetrical polyarthritis and reddish- brown papulonodular cutaneous lesions.the diagnosis of multicentric reticulohistiocytosis was confirmed by histological examination. bothskin and articular manifestations were only partially treated with oral corticosteroids, monthly boluscyclophosphamide, weekly methotrexate and knee synoviorthesis with nitrogen mustard.
