چکیده    Bao.9sr0.1ti03 powder was processed at 8°c by reacting with ti02 sol in aqueous solutions that contained bacl2, srcl2 and naoh at atmospheric pressure. impedance spectroscopy was used to study the behaviour of this material the impedance spectra show only a single peak, which represents the most resistive element in the sample, whereas an additional peak appears in modulus spectrum. these indicate the presence of two elements in this material. the two components have temperature- dependent activation energy. the activation energy of the low frequency element and the high frequency element was 1.46 ev and 0.84 ev, respectively. the capacitance values for both elements were similar within the range of 30 pf to 70 pf, depending on the temperature. the high frequency element was confirmed to be a ferroelectric material but conclusive behaviour of low frequency element could not be determined. therefore, we tentatively assume that these components belong to different regions (either structurally or compositionally) in the microstructure.
