چکیده
|
This paper presents the results of a nuolber of computations using the 20 fem toshow the effects of significant variables on the behavior of geosynthetically reinforcedearth slopes. ~rhe verification and reliability of the results are priolarily cxatnined throughcolnparisons with experimental data available. the results seem to be quite acceptable andcan be used with a high degree of reliability for predicting the relevant problelns.the inain variables studied are soil properties, slope geolnetry, and the properties ofreinforcement elements, while the safety factor, defonnation components~ effect ofgeotextile stiffness~ the shape and location of the slip surface are the tnain unknovnssought.
