بررسی نقش درمانی عسل در تاریخ (مطالعه مروری)

زمینه و هدف: عسل به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین فراورده‌های دارویی زنبور عسل از گذشته تاکنون مورد توجه بسیاری از اقوام و ادیان بوده است. در طب سنتی شرقی نظیر آنچه در ایران، چین و هند رونق داشته، به ویژگی‌های ترمیم زخم، رفع بیماری‌های گوارشی، انرژی‌زایی و تقویت قوای بدن و... از عسل اشاره شده است. همچنین اقوام مختلف نظیر مایا در آمریکای جنوبی، یونان، مصر باستان و سایر ملل از عسل به عنوان شیرین‌کننده، درمان‌کننده و حتی خراج و ماده‌ای برای داد و ستد یاد شده است که ارزش این فراورده را نشان می‌دهد.روش: در این مطالعه که یک بررسی کتابخانه‌ای و مروری می‌باشد، به بررسی نقش درمانی عسل در درمان بیماری‌ها در اقوام و ادیان مختلف بر اساس داده‌های منابع علمی خارجی پرداخته شده است.ملاحظات اخلاقی: در این پژوهش اصل امانت داری در انتشار مطالب از منابع علمی رعایت گردیده است.یافته‌ها: به طور کلی می‌توان گفت بدون استثنا در تمامی منابع تاریخی اعم از متون مذهبی یا علمی از عسل به عنوان ماده‌ای شفابخش با قابلیت درمان بیماری‌های مختلف اشاره شده است. همچنین در بعضی از منابع مذهبی شرقی یا غربی از عسل یا زنبور عسل به عنوان ماده و موجودی ارزشمند و مقدس یاد شده است.نتیجه‌گیری: در منابع طب سنتی و متون مذهبی عسل عامل شفا و درمان بیماری‌ها می‌باشد. همچنین در عصر حاضر به عسل توجه ویژه‌ای شده و در کشورهای اروپایی علاوه بر نقش تغذیه‌ای به اشکال مختلف دارویی فرموله و به بازار عرضه شده است. در این پژوهش بیشتر به جنبه دارویی و تاریخی عسل در ملل و اقوام مختلف پرداخته شده است.

investigating the therapeutic role of honey in history (review study)

background and aim: honey, as one of the most important medicinal products, has been thefocus of many tribes and religions since the past. in eastern traditional medicine, such as thatwhich flourished in iran, china and india, the features of healing wounds, curing digestivediseases, increasing energy, and strengthening the body's powers, etc., have been mentioned fromhoney. also, various tribes such as maya in south america, greece, ancient egypt and othernations have mentioned honey as a sweetener, treatment and even a tribute and a material fortrade, which shows the value of this product.methods: in this library and review study, the therapeutic role of honey in treatment of diseasesin different ethnical and religious has been investigated based on the data of foreign scientificsources.ethical considerations: in this research, the principle of trustworthiness has been observed inthe publication of materials from scientific sources.results: in general, it can be said that honey is mentioned as a healing substance with the abilityto treat various diseases that mentioned in all historical sources, including religious and scientifictexts. also, in some eastern or western religious sources, honey or bees are mentioned asvaluable and sacred substances.conclusion: honey is the agent of healing and treatment of diseases in the sources of traditionalmedicine and religious texts. also in present era special attention has been paid to honey and ineuropean countries, in addition to its nutritional role, it has been formulated and marketed invarious medicinal forms. in this research, the medicinal and historical aspects of honey indifferent nations and ethnic groups have been discussed.
