بررسی استدلالی نقش عناصر اربعه به عنوان علت مادی در زیست شناسی گیاهی دوره اسلامی و اثبات نقش آن ها در احوال و اختلاف نباتات

توجه به مبانی در علوم مختلف از آن جهت مهم و قابل توجه است که این مبانی حکم مبادی تصدیقی و اصول موضوعه را در علوم دارند. هدف از مقاله‌ی حاضر، بررسی نقش عناصر اربعه در زیست‌شناسی گیاهی دوره اسلامی است. فرضیه‌ی این پژوهش بر اصلِ علت مادی بودن عناصر اربعه تاکید دارد که برای نخستین بار بدان پرداخته و استنباط شده است. روش استفاده شده در این مقاله از نوع مطالعات تاریخی با رویکرد تحلیلی است که در نوع خود بی‌نظیر است. یافته‌های بدست آمده از بررسی منابع اصیل تاریخی نشان می‌دهد که عناصر اربعه در دو عرصه نبات‌شناسی اعم از زیست‌شناسی نبات و احوال نباتات وجود دارد. از آنجا که چهار عنصر در یک نبات حضور دارند و هر یک از وظیفه ی خاصی برخوردار هستند، بررسی چگونگی تحلیل قوای نبات به چهار عنصر آّب، خاک، هوا و آتش که دارای کیفیت چهارگانه‌ی تری، خشکی، گرمی و سردی هستند، امری ضروری است. همچنین علت تفاوت‌ها و اختلافات در نباتات نیز به تفاوت ترکیب عناصر اربعه در آنها بازمی گردد و احوال و اجزای نباتات نیز بر مبنای نظام چهار عنصری تبیین می‌شوند.

investigating the role of four elements in plant biology of the islamic period and representing their role in the conditions and differences of plants

basics in various sciences have the authority of confirmative principles and subject principles. the purpose of this article is to investigate the role of four elements in the plant biology of the islamic period. this research will be done using the library method based on historical studies with an analytical approach. the hypothesis of this research emphasizes that the four elements are the material cause, which has been inference for the first time in this article. the findings obtained from the examination of original historical sources show that there are four elements in two fields of botany, including plant biology and plant conditions. because four elements are present in a plant and each one has a specific task, it is necessary to analyze the faculties of the plant into four elements (earth, water, air, fire) that have four qualities (warmth, coldness, wetness, dryness). also, the cause for the differences and discrepancies in plants is related to the difference in the composition of four elements in them, and the conditions and parts of plants are also explained based on the four element system.
