تبین افزایش شیوع اختلالات طیف اُتیسم بر مبنای نظریه تغییر مفهومی تاگارد

در این مقاله با استفاده از نظریه‌ی درخت تغییر مفهومی تاگارد در پیِ تبیین افزایش تعداد افرادِ دارای «اختلالات طیف اُتیسم» هستیم. در نگاه اول تبیین افزایش تعداد موردهای این اختلال می‌تواند ناشی از زیاد شدن واقعی تعداد افراد، بنا به دلایلی که هنوز مشحص نشده‌اند، باشد،ِ یا این‌که متخصصان علوم پزشکی به ابزارهای دقیق‌تری برای شناسایی و غربالگری دست پیدا کرده‌اند. اما این تبیین اولیه‌ی افزایشِ تعدادِ افراد می‌تواند تبیین‌های مکمل هم داشته باشد مانند طبی‌سازی و تغییر مفهومی. در این مقاله به تبیین تغییر مفهومی می‌پردازیم؛ به این صورت که افزایش تعداد موارد در اثر تغییرات در مفهوم این اختلال باشد که نتیجه آن شمول افراد جدیدی است که سابقاً در این طیف قرار نمی‌گرفتند. همچنین به نظریه‌ی درخت تغییر مفهومی پاول تاگارد که وی در آن بر روی تغییر مفهومیِ سلسله‌مراتبیِ بیماری سل تحقیق کرده است به عنوان تبیین جایگزین ارجاع داده شده است و با کاربست نظریه‌ی او نشان می‌دهیم که افزایش تعدادِ مواردِ اختلالات طیف اُتیسم می‌تواند علاوه بر محتمل بودن افزایش تعداد افراد و دقیق‌تر شدن ابزارهای پزشکی، ناشی از تغییر مفهومی اُتیسم باشد.

in this article, we use thagard’s conceptual tree theory to explain the increase in the number of people with &autism spectrum disorders.& at first glance, the explanation for the increase in the number of cases of this disorder may be due to the actual increase in the number of people, for reasons that have not yet been identified. or that medical professionals have developed more accurate tools for identification and screening. but this initial explanation for the increase in the number of people can also have complementary explanations, such as medicalization and conceptual change. in this article, we explain the conceptual change; in such a way that the increase in the number of cases is due to changes in the concept of this disorder, which results in the inclusion of new people who were not previously included in this spectrum. it is also cited as an alternative explanation for paul thagard’s theory of the tree of conceptual change, in which he researched the conceptual hierarchical change of tuberculosis and by applying his theory, we show that the increase in the number of cases of autism spectrum disorders can be due to a change in the concept of autism, in addition to the possibility of an increase in the number of people and more accurate medical devices.
