چکیده
|
با این‌که از مرگِ عبداللطیف طسوجی (حدود 1300 ق.)، مترجم پرآوازه و چیره‌دستِ هزار و یک شب، مدت زیادی نگذشته، دربارۀ وقایع زندگی و سایر نوشته‌های احتمالی وی اطلاعات اندکی در دست است. در این جستار ضمنِ بررسی برخی گزارش‌ها دربارۀ عبداللطیف طسوجی، نخست صحت انتساب کتاب برهان جامع به وی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است و در ادامه ترجمۀ کشف‌الغمه که یکی از دیگر آثار ناشناختۀ طسوجی است و در جایی به آن اشاره نشده، نمایانده شده است. افزون بر این‌ها نامه‌ای به خط عبداللطیف طسوجی که برای ناصرالدین‌شاه قاجار از نجف فرستاده و یک سند معتبر دربارۀ زندگانی اوست، آورده شده است.- بر اساس منابع تازه ای که در این تحقیق به آنها اشاره شده - درباره تاریخ وفات طسوجی احتمال هایی مطرح شده است.
