identifying the organizational intelligence of agriculture- jihad organization in guilan province, iran

In the modern world, organizations are considered as intelligentsystems. increased organizational intelligence (oi) helps organizationsto effectively analyze their data, store results, anduse outcomes for making professional decisions. the purposeof this study was to measure oi in agriculture- jihad organizationin guilan. a sample of 201 out of personnel was selected fromin agriculture- jihad organization in guilan (n=1296) througha proportional cluster sampling technique. the instrument ofthe study included 7 intelligence constructs measured against49 items. results indicated a medium level of oi in the guilanagricultural- jihad organization. among the intelligence components,‘shared fate’ received highest ratings and ‘appetite forchange’ received the lowest ratings. the confirmatory factoranalysis indicated that of the seven intelligence components,the ‘heart’ explained highest proportion of variance for describingoi. findings have implication for designing policies and developingprograms for enhancing the oi. it is recommended thatagriculture- jihad organization in guilan should examine andmeasure their oi and identify strategies to achieve a high levelof oi needed for professional success.
