چکیده    Letter to editor: thick waxy skin, easy bruising and subcutaneous nodules, plaques and purpura particularly in the periorbital area are common skin manifestations of systemic amyloidosis. primary amyloidosis may present with vasculitides, especially giant cell arteritis or polymyalgia rheumatica. rarely, it may coexist with necrotizing vasculitis of the central nervous system, giant cell arteritis, or vasculitis of the small intestine.
