A NEW RECORD OF SILENE L. (CARYOPHYLLACEAE) FROM IRAN

Silene breviauriculata ghazanfar from sect. auriculatae that already was reported from afghanistan in flora iranica, is recorded from iran for the first time. the distribution map of the new record is presented.
