Derbesia marina (lyngbye) kjellman (derbesiaceae, chlorophyceae) isrecorded for the first time from persian gulf. through an investigation onseaweeds of persian gulf in south of iran the species was collected fromintertidal regions of bandar shenas that located west of bandar lengeh inhormozgan province.
