   Catalytic Pyrolysis of Waste Tyre Rubber into Hydrocarbons Via Base Catalysts

چکیده    The waste lyres represent a source of energy and valuable hydrocarbon products.waste lyres were pyrotvsed catalytically in a balch reactor under atmospheric pressure. the effectsof basic catalysts (mgo and cuco.;) were studied on the pyrolysis products. the distribution ratioofgos, liquid and char with mgo and coco, were 24.4:39.8:35.8 wi % and 32.5:32.2:35.2 wi %respectively at 350 ce for lhr catalytic pvrotvsis. the physical and chemical properties of thepyrolzed products obtained were characterized. both catalysts produced 25 % wt of aliphatichydrocarbons but with the use otmagnesium oxide the aromatic hydrocarbons increased (55 %) andpolar hydrocarbons decreased (20 %) as compared to calcium carbonate catalyst (50 % aromaticand 25 %polar hydrocarbons). asfar as the distillation data and fuel tests are concerned, the oilfractions with both catalysts fu(fill the present specificutions 0.1 dieselfuel commercial products.
